The visions that Jesus Christ gave to John the Apostle towards the end of the first century on the island of Patmos and recorded in the New Testament book called Revelation challenge churches ¡V past, present and future ¡V to perseverance in the faith. Threats from within and without the churches put pressure on believers. Sometimes Christians stand courageously and faithfully, but in other situations people abandon their beliefs and churches suffer, sometimes dying. In our 21st century world the Seven Letters of Revelation 2-3 bring us face-to-face with Jesus, the Lord of the churches. The experiences of these seven churches become examples to us of the Lord¡¦s expectations. He requires us to listen to His message and urges us with strong warnings and firm promises to remain faithful witnesses no matter what may happen.

These Bible study series of DVD presentations on ¡§The 7 Churches of Revelation¡¨ not only enables Christians to reflect deeply upon their message for us today, but also links the audience with historical, geographical and archeological data that casts fresh, creative light on many details. You will discover through this integration of biblical reflection and wonderful photography and music a new appreciation for Jesus¡¦ words. It is our prayer that God¡¦s Spirit will indeed enable you to hear with startling clarity ¡§what the Spirit is saying to the churches¡¨.

Faithful churches are always reforming churches, responding to God¡¦s word. Growing disciples of Jesus are always hungry to deepen their relationship with their Lord. May these Bible study series of Passion for Jesus  be the instrument God uses to call His people to renewed zeal in these days of opportunity and oppression. ¡§To the one who overcomes¡¨ there is promised great blessing.
